Elisa Lederer, LCSW

Hello and welcome to my practice! My name is Elisa Lederer and I have over 18 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults ages 21+ and families. I got my masters at Fordham University and, did my post-graduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in NYC and the Junge Institute in Zurich Switzerland. Before going into private practice, I worked at the Jewish Board for Family and Children’s Services and Maria Droste Counseling Services, both located in New York City.

My approach is client-centered, strength-based and trauma-informed. Theoretical frameworks that inform my work include CBT, DBT, IFS, Family Systems and Psychoanalytic. I believe in the power of human resilience and adopt a collaborative approach based on respect and open dialogue. My client base is typically those who struggle with depression, bipolar, anxiety, OCD, as well as relationship issues and life transitions.

In my free time, I love writing, spending time with my three adult children and friends, and traveling to immerse myself in different cultures.

I’m here to partner with you on your journey toward growth and fulfillment!

Kacey Gormley, LMSW, CCLS

I am a Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker that holds a certification in school social work and a Certified Child Life Specialist. I built my educational foundation with a degree in human development and family sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and began my career in the mental health field almost 20 years ago. I received my masters from Columbia University with a focus on family, youth and children services. I have had the honor of working in several notable hospital systems – Dell Children’s Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone – where I learned to ‘practice with a questioning attitude’. I believe that education is a lifelong pursuit that gives insight and perspective. I strive to be curious! My approach is hands-on and developmentally appropriate. I work to build a connection that is strengths-based, goal-oriented and trauma-informed. My practice is influenced by the framework of CBT, Family Systems, and Play. My specialty is working with children, teens and parents experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and school issues. Let me be that safe, supportive sounding board for you and your family; we can take this journey together. Outside of work, I am active with my three young children; we love sports! We enjoy exploring museums, experience activities, and food adventures.
